3:40 AM - Caleb wakes up crying and needs to be tucked back in.
3:50 AM - Cannot fall back asleep. (Me - not Caleb. That lucky boy drifted right back to sleep.)
4:30 AM - Still laying in bed not sleeping while thoughts of backyard projects, the never-ending to-do list, primary craziness and family stuff roll around in my head.
4:50 AM - Realize that our rec center opens up at 5:00 AM so I jump out of bed and figure I'll make use of this useless insomnia.
5:10 AM - Dressed and ready to jump in the pool when I am informed that the pool doesn't actually open until 5:30 (at this point I have already showered so I stand there in the locker room for twenty minutes, shivering, while I wait for the door to be unlocked.)
5:40 AM - The lifeguard finally comes to open the door and informs the line of swimmers that there is a problem with the pool and it is closed. (I wore flip flops not tennis shoes so I can't go do anything else while I'm there.)
6:00 AM - Stomp in the back door (can you guess how grumpy I am by this point?), write off the morning and fall back into bed. (But still can't sleep!)
Talk about a great way to start off the week!
