Empathy

Once a month Olivia's school focuses on a different value - this month was empathy - and then at the end of the month they give out "Principal's Pride" awards to the students who have gone the extra mile in living that value.  Of course there are many, many values that I hope my children will learn and live by, but my heart is extra happy today that at age seven Olivia has already begun to live by one of the tougher ones to teach.
I am so proud of this beautiful little girl and the path that she is choosing to be on!

My mom, grandma, nephew Colby and Caleb came to the assembly today and it was just such a fun afternoon!  The little boys were especially cute clapping and cheering for the kids.  (Look how proud Mr. Caleb is of his big sister!)
