Mostly our mornings around here are spent doing "Summer Stations."
15 minutes of chores, 15 minutes of workbooks or reading, 15 minutes of piano practice and 15 minutes of a craft or art project.
On Saturday the kids used some art materials my mom sent home with them a few days ago to make some patriotic wreaths and they turned out very cute!

So darling! I wish Pioneer Day was more celebrated here. In a recent sunday bulletin, it was referred to as Utah Pioneer Day. Made me giggle! Guess since my mom always made it special to us, it is a big deal to me wherever we live!
