July so far has been lovely! Lots of 4th festivities, hiking, sprinkler parks, library visits and friends. Olivia left yesterday for her first real summer camp away from home (she is spending three days and two nights at Trefoil Ranch with her Girl Scout troop) and I cannot BELIEVE that she is old enough for this! I'm a little sad that she's growing up so fast, a little excited for all of the fun she's having, a little pleased that she wasn't afraid to do this, and truth be told a little jealous that she gets to go ride horses at the ranch without ME! I'm consoling myself with a long overdue painting project in her room to surprise her when she gets home. (We'll see if I've bitten off more than I can chew and can finish before tomorrow afternoon.)
