1st Grade Here We Come

I can't believe that on August 27th my sweet little Livvy will start first grade.
Where she will go to school
ALL DAY LONG

and hang out with kids I don't know
and figure out who Hannah Montana and the Brats are
and learn how to sass (more than she already does)
and any number of other truly horrible things!!!
In honor (and horror!) of the occasion I thought I'd shine a little spot light
on my grown up girl.

A day in the life of Olivia Anne
usually begins with a blueberry waffle and chocolate milk.
Occasionally she will condescend to something semi-healthy and eat a yogurt
("but nothing with chunks of fruit mom!")
She is a master bed-maker, towel-folder, piano-duster, clorox-wiper
and big sister extraordinaire.
Caleb is in LOVE with her and when she's gone will wander around the house
calling for his "Lilla!"
Clothes that involve denim, buttons, layers or seams touching her stomach
all result in a major meltdown.
Brushes, combs, headbands and barrettes also have adverse affects.
(And don't even get me started on what socks can do to our day!)
If she could live her life in a t-shirt, drawstring shorts and flip flops
she would be the happiest girl on the planet.
She has a huge imagination,
loves making up stories with her polly pockets and littlest pet shop toys
and playing in the clubhouse with her friends.
She is a born gardener,
she loves to hike
and her artwork amazes me.
AMAZES ME!!
She is firmly entrenched in routine and unfortunately
inherited her mother's temper (sorry kid...)
She is kind hearted.
AND I LOVE HER TO BITS AND WILL MISS HER
WHEN SHE GOES TO SCHOOL!

This is such a cute post! A first grader?! Holy cow! I'm going to cry like a baby when Emma starts Kindergarten and will cry even more when she starts first grade... you are right - so much to worry about with them making decisions about friends and how to act and then just hoping they don't become interested in things like Bratz! :)

Good luck with the first grader! I guess it is time to start on #3 huh?!! j/k I think Livvy will love it! I too am scared to send Chloe to school for fear of the things she will learn and the attitude she will bring home!
