We spent a busy and fun day together decorating the house and cooking and baking. Olivia spent all morning coloring pictures of cars and street signs to hang on the walls. After school we had her book fair and Parent Teacher Conferences (she's doing great by the way.) And then it was home for a yummy dinner and race car birthday party with the Benson family.
Here is my masterpiece! It's the first non-square cake I've ever made and I'm pretty proud of how it turned out! :)

Happy Birthday Caleb!
I still cannot believe he's 1!! How does time fly by so quickly? We're going to be old before we know it. Haha. Your cake looked awesome, I am very impressed! And Livvy's bangs look very good too. You are braver than I, I won't touch Beth's hair with scissors.
Great cake! He is too funny shying away from the cake! Congratulations to both of you making it through the first year!!! Yayyy!!!
That cake is adorable!
You've done it again SuperMom!
Happy Birthday Cutie Pie! Can we please stop time! Our kids are growing too fast.
Caleb is so cute. It looks like he had a fun little party.I remember when Brynn turned one she won't touch the cake at all. My other two did, but not her. Funny kids. I also love Olivia bangs. Brynn got bangs about a year ago, and I have loved not having her hair in her face. Loves

What a cutie! Too bad he didn't dig into the cute little cake. Maybe he just didn't want to upset you after you worked so hard on it!! j/k
