Help Please!

Hey friends! Next month I am teaching an enrichment lesson on keeping kids busy and productive over the summer. If you have any wonderful "recipes" for this or know of any great blogs or websites devoted to fun stuff for kids would you mind leaving a comment? Thanks ya'll!

Hey - one site I really like is The Crafty Crow - it is kinda like tip-junkie only for kid sites and ideas. She compiles a ton of kid activities and ideas from other sights - she has some really cute ideas! Good Luck!

If I know anyone who could put that together it would be you! You are always doing cute things with your kids!

I love the blog. Notimeforflashcards. There is a link on my blog. It is geared for preschool and younger but I think you could tweak stuff for older kids. Also I like projectsforyournest.blogspot.com. it's by a cute LDS lady. I think having a type of flexible schedule works for me. Making sure to do something outside and unplugged everyday. Also making sure I shower before 9am helps :). I always struggle with getting everyone up, fed, watching a cartoon for a bit, and then getting on the internet. If I shower before i get on the computer I am less likely to be on it too long or get on it at all. When I am ready for the day before 11am I am more willing to go out and about and do something constructive! :)

but yeah I agree with Jenny. you are great at this!

I really like The Crafty Crow too. I also like this blog : littlehandsbigwork.blogspot.com . It mostly has activities for younger kids. FamilyFun.com sometimes has neat stuff too. Good luck!

I was asked to teach the same lesson a couple years ago. I just emailed you the hand-out I used (w/the activity ideas, etc.). Let me know if you don't get it. Hopefully it's helpful to you! :)
