Spring is here, spring is here, it's the best time of the year!

We have spent lots of time PLAYING in the springshine over these last few weeks! Here are a few highlights:
Olivia, Caleb and I went with my mother in law Carol (and quilting buddy extaordinaire) to the Quilt Show at the Southtowne Expo Center. I was worried Livvy would be bored, but she actually loved it. Here are a few of our very favorites. (The alphabet one just might have to be my next project I loved it so much.)
The kids and I went to Wheeler Farm last week. There are no pictures of Caleb because he spent the whole time hiding from the breeze under his blanket, but Olivia sure had a great time and boy did I take a trip down memory lane. When we were preschool and kindergarten age my brother Adam and I would go all the time with a sweet little neighbor lady who liked to take the neighbor kids on field trips. Quite a few things have changed since then, but the little tree house has not. It was so weird to remember climbing in it so vividly and then to be taking pictures of my little daugher climbing in it.
Our backyard is getting closer to being done! I promise a fabulously grand blog entry all about it when we finally get there.
Our trees are in blossom, our flowers are in bloom, Livvy's bike is fixed and we are enjoying every possible second that we can outside. Picnics, parks, sidewalk chalk, water painting on the driveway, bike and stroller rides, running around with the neighbor kids... it's been a blast!
The last picture I included just for kicks. It's Olivia playing "Tinkerbell and Peter Pan" with Caleb. Don't they just fit the parts? Happy Spring everyone!!

Those are some awesome quilts! I might have to try and make one too. You guys look like you're having a fun spring....isn't great to finally be able to go outside again. I am loving it. And let me say...YOUR KIDS ARE ADORABLE! We really do need to get together and do something, it would be so great to see you again!

Those quilts are gorgeous! I have had this quilting itch for about two years now, but I just can't seem to find the time for classes darn it! You are so lucky! Have you made many quilts? Post some if you have, I would love to oogle them!
