They're hiking machines! On day 2 we headed back into the park after breakfast. My plan was to do just the lower pool on the Emerald Pools hike and then have lots of time for sightseeing around the rest of the park. My little hikers had other plans though and wouldn't stop until we'd reached the third and highest pool.
After a little down time playing in the sand at the top we headed back down for lunch at the Zion Lodge, a stop at the gift shop and another try at swimming back at the hotel.
Swimming again did not work out so well. They paddled around in the cold for awhile and then we headed back up to the room to shower and go to dinner.
It didn't take them long to come up with a solution to the cold pool though!
After their impromptu swim in the tub and some dinner we ended the night with popcorn and a Disney movie.
