Lemon Icecream

I wish I had taken a before picture of the paint in Olivia's bedroom. Just picture it all (and I mean all - ceiling, doors, walls and trim) a light tan color. Fine for a family room, but no good in a little girl's room. Three days, one can of primer, two cans of paint, two ruined t-shirts, a few spills, a kinked neck and an angel of a Caleb man being content just to entertain himself or hang out watching me and we now have white doors, trim and ceilings (seriously - I'm not sure if my neck will ever recover from priming and painting that ceiling...) and beautiful, soft yellow walls. I LOVE IT! It reminds me of lemon icecream and everytime I walk in there I am filled with cheeriness!
I mod-podged the green and purple framed mirrors and we rearranged her wall hangings and furniture and filled two big boxes (one for the garbage and one for the DI) while we were at it. I am glad to say that I am no longer afraid of painting (but never again will I do a whole room without Cameron there to help me!)

So I read your title and I was thinking about the lemon custard Aggie ice cream! mmm, Aggie ice cream. Though I've become partial to frozen yogurt there's no beating the Aggie. Ok, enough about that! Can you tell I'm preggo!?

What an accomplishment with all that painting! I love the room and especially the quilt! Just beautiful!

Wow Emily! So cute. I love it! I love the color combo and the happy feeling. I am always amazed with ladies who can put that sort of thing together in their head and then make it happen.
