The Dreaded Day

turn into THIS?!
Friday was a fun day, but a little sad too.
I can no longer pretend this gigantic kid is my "baby" anymore!

Olivia worked long and hard on this birthday banner! There was much discussion beforehand on whether Caleb wanted a "momas coo coo" (Thomas the Choo Choo) or "melmo" (Elmo) birthday. Every time we asked him he'd give a different answer, so we decided to play it safe and give him both.

He L-O-V-E-D all of his presents - a big semi truck that carries little semi trucks, a tool set, a basketball hoop and a lift the flap book.

My talented sister in law Ashley (with my little sister Andy as assistant) made this amazing cake. CUTE CUTE CUTE!!! We had a hard time keeping Caleb out of it until after dinner.
