Today

Conference Saturday is one of my top five favorite days of the year. It's right up there with Christmas Eve and my kid's birthdays and the first day back to school after a very long break. Summer is officially done and so are all of the hectic family trips and trying to entertain kids. Olivia is officially well adjusted to school. The primary program is finished (Hallelujiah I survived!) Autumn is here, the weather is fabulous, the blue jeans and sweaters are coming out of hibernation and my fall and Halloween decorations are up and making me very, very happy.
Cameron is working today and so the kids and I are having a craft-making, cookie-baking, picture-coloring, Conference-listening, laundry-folding, autumn-enjoying kind of day and I LOVE it!

i miss that about Utah. YOu can just smell fall in the air, and I too love conference Saturday. Here we're having a windy, dry, brown DVR recorded conference day because we're recovering from ER last night with Drew with the croup. Sounds so festive huh?--I'll trade ya? On a lighter note, my mom is coming down to Vegas with Richard and Carol tomorrow to surprise the kids--that will be nice.

Man I wish I had your energy and ambition to do something other than lay on the couch and try to get something out of conference other than yelling at my kids to be quiet!
