Dear Friends,

I am not missing, on a fabulous vacation or hibernating. I have not run out of things to post. My brain however cannot summon the energy to channel our many family activities, basement projects, new ideas, summer plans or news into readable sentences. Yesterday I was sustained as the primary president in our ward (Happy Mothers Day to me!) and I am now in full on panic/survival mode. If any of you lovely ladies have served in a primary presidency before and have any amazing ideas or words of wisdom and advice PUHLEEEEASE pass them my way!!! And while I adjust to this and try to catch my breath please be patient with my lack of postage and notice the most recent pictures of my gorgeous kids in the slide show to your right.
Love Emily

You'll do great, Emily! I am always so thankful for the experience I had serving with you in the Primary Presidency in AZ. What good training!

All I can say is may the force be with you. I have only served as Primary secretary and that is a cake job. I teach 8-9 year olds now and they are little stinkers. So.....good luck! You'll do great I'm sure!

Wow Emily! You'll do great. You are so creative and good with kids. I think it is great you at least had a little past experience in the Primary. I was just thrown into it when I moved out here. I hadn't been in Primary since I was 12...I had no idea what was going on. The first few months I was president were crazy for me as we got into the groove of things. I also have learned to love the website sugardoodle. My counselors and secretary have made my job so much easier...they are amazing.

Oh Emily! You will be so great at that job! Of course it would be WAY overwhelming for me, but I know you will do great.

I have never held a major calling in Primary... but if anyone can do it it's you. You are so creative and organized!
