Meet Miss Daisy

Well it's happened. I swore it never would. I protested, I laid down the law, I made excuses, I fought. And then I lost. Cameron and Olivia have been absolutely begging for a dog ever since we moved into our house and even though I really do love doggies... I just figured that A) We'd never be able to find a dog as sweet and gentle as Molly (my parents dog), B) Cameron works a million hours a week and I would be the one doing all the work, and C) we have two kids! The last thing I need around here is something else that eats and poops! But last weekend we found out about Daisy. She's small, house trained, great with kids and in need of a home. So after a little bit of pleading and promising on Cameron's part. And a whole lot of nervousness on mine... here is the newest member of our family. So goodbye family vacations with nothing to worry about back at home. Goodbye walking barefoot in the backyard in the summertime. Hello vet bills, grooming bills and carpet cleaning bills. And hello (hopefully!) to a sweet, nice, little doggie that fits into our family and doesn't cause me too much extra stress!
