One Wild Week

Monday: Braved the garden department at Super Walmart with both kids in the rain, calmed an Olivia meltdown, attempted to plant flowers for FHE and then gave up and got slurpees instead, planted flowers in the dark with Cameron after the kids were in bed, missed exercising but figured it was worth it for the flower garden and time with my hubby.

Tuesday: Found out Livvy's track assignment for kindergarten (B), sent my ailing husband to the dentist, sent Caleb to my aunt's, beelined it with Olivia to little brother's graduation at the E Center, battled traffic and construction to pick up Caleb (in W Jordan) and Cameron (in Riverton) and get back to Matt's graduation dinner (in Sugarhouse), introduced Caleb to his great Grandma Siegel visiting from Ohio, calmed another Olivia meltdown, missed exercising again (I don't remember why...)

Wednesday: Made a mad dash to clean bathrooms and floors and clutter before the grandmas all came for lunch (thank heavens for my master duster Olivia!), sent Cameron to get lots of painful and expensive dental work done at the endodontist, had lunch with the grandmas, calmed another Olivia meltdown, made a shake run to Arctic Circle for Cameron and then lots of dashes between kitchen and bedroom (for ice, pain meds, water, sprite, more ice, etc), enjoyed an entire 10 minutes of quiet time, dragged the whole tired and cranky family to dinner and a game night at my parents house, ended up having a fabulous time but missed exercising. (Again.)

Thursday: Paid bills, calmed an Olivia meltdown, calmed another Olivia meltdown, had my own meltdown, pulled it together, hugged my kids, braved Super Walmart again for groceries and a birthday present, went to Caleb's six month well check (18 lbs 4 ounces and 27 inches long and his head jumped from the 50th to the 90th percentile so we have to go have it measured again in four weeks - not sure why...), bathed kids and miraculously had them both in bed by 8:00 PM. (Woohooo!) Again skipped exercising because I was just too dang tired.
Friday: Made Happy Birthday pancakes for Olivia (she's 5 today!), thought about cleaning my disaster of a house (but didn't), met Cameron and his Mom at Chik-Fil-A for Olivia's birthday lunch, dinner prep for her b-day bbq at Grandma Rollin's tonight, and am now enjoying Caleb's nap and Livvy's quiet time. P.s. she celebrated her birthday by NOT having a meltdown for the first time this week! (Of course the day isn't over yet...)

Amen to crazy weeks sister!! Congrats on surviving. And Happy Birthday to Livvy! If your hubby is feeling up to it we should do a double date tomorrow night. If not we can just bring him a slushie. :)

You are a busy woman!!! Way fun though! It sounds like and a LOT like my life :) Except I think Mckay has melt downs about every 20 minutes.

ps. I have to skip exercising most nights too...just so much to do and too many excuses :) I need to make time.

Why is it that exercising starts out as a priority but always seems to get pushed out of the way (I say this because I have a serious problem with that too!) Let me know if you ever find a solution to that one!

Also, isn't it funny how we hate Super Walmart (or any Walmart) but we simply can't live without it? It's just so cheap....

What a week! Happy Bday to Olivia. And the pics of Caleb on your last couple posts are so great--he's a handsome little guy.
