Our Latest Doings

It hasn't really been that long since I've posted, but between the Easter holiday and all that's been happening over the last ten days or so, it feels like a long time! Here is the short version of what's been happening. We had a lot of fun Easter activities - an egg party at my moms with egg coloring, a hunt, Easter bingo and icecream sundaes - the bunny coming to our own house on Saturday night (Olivia was beyond thrilled when instead of a basket he brought her a little art desk/tray with all of the little cubby holes filled with supplies) - and a wonderful Easter Sunday and evening at the Bensons. Here is Livvy and her humungous stash of eggs she found!
This is Caleb in his Easter outfit taken a week late. He wasn't allowed out yet on Easter Sunday and he was in a horrible mood, so I didn't inflict the outfit or pictures on him until the following week. A whole lot of good it did in making our day run smoothly. When we got over to the Bensons for Easter dinner he took one look at the crowd of people and threw a howling, screeching fit. After getting home from Primaries the previous Tuesday we spent a very quiet, peaceful week at home with just our little family, so all of the people and noise at Grandma's did not go over well. I ended up pacing the hallway and back bedroom with him for most of the evening, because every time I walked into the main room with the rest of the family he started bawling all over again.
On the 27th Caleb had his 4 month well visit and everything looked great! Here he is in the aftermath of shots - bandaids, fever and all.
Hooray for rice cereal! This picture makes me laugh, because it looks like he hates it, but actually the opposite is true. He gets mad when I take too long getting the spoon back into his mouth.
No explanation necessary. Every kid needs a few bath pictures, right?
Okay people, are you ready for this one?
He.......

can..........
ROLL!!!
And boy does it wear him out!
He spent all morning rolling over and then had the best nap of his life that afternoon.

Doesn't he just look so sweet and innocent?
(NOT! This is right after a huge messy diaper. While trying to clean him up he decided that his mom, the changing table, the window... basically everything within five feet of him, needed to be wet upon. So lovely. I gave up on the baby wipes and headed for the tub.)
Our camera is slowly dying. The shutter speed is now so slow that it is a rare occurance for us to catch this grin in a picture. What a little charmer!!

That last picture is so sweet!! Yay for rolling! We need to play again soon, we are almost healthy again here. Beth is healthy at least, so if Livvy needs company, let us know.

Little boys do seem to be pretty good and getting everything wet when the diaper comes off. I've found that it is easier sometimes just to stick them in the tub. Carson gets washed off in the tub often now since he can't seem to contain things in his diaper. One of those mom things! He is very cute!!!
